I created this art cover called 'ATGC Ocean Earth' in collaboration with Olivier Jaillon , Noan Le Bescot and Daniel Richter.
The idea is to depict plankton genomic biogeography through an ocean of DNA that is represented by the four iconic nucleic acid letters, A, T, G and C. The colors of the letters are a transformation of the colors of the actual plankton biogeography published in Frémont et al. 2022. The sequence is random.
